Creating Gift Cards
You can set up gift cards that will be available for purchase online or though admin sales by going to Manage-> Gift Cards. You can set up static gift cards where the value and price is set, or variable gift cards that allow the purchaser to choose the amount.
To create a gift card:
- Select Manage in the ScheduleBliss menu.
- Select Gift Cards.
- Select Create New Gift Card Type.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Enter the name of the gift card here. |
| Allow Clients to Set Amount | Set to Yes for a variable gift card, set to No for a static gift card. |
| Amount | Enter the price of the gift card here for a static gift card and leave blank for a variable gift card. |
| Value | Enter the value of the gift card here for a static gift card and leave blank for a variable gift card. |
| Taxable | If set to Yes, the gift card will be taxable. |
| Valid From | The gift card can be set to be valid from the Start of Purchase Day, Beginning of Purchase Month, Specific Date or First Visit. |
| Valid From | The gift card can be set to be valid until the End of Purchase Month, Number of Days, Number of Months or Specific Date. |
| Available Online | If set to Yes, the gift card will be available in the online store for purchase. If set to No, the gift card will only be available for purchase through admin sales. |
| Online Weight | This allows you to set the order in which gift cards appear in the online store. Enter 0 for the gift card you wish to appear first and set all others in the order of your choosing beginning with 1. |

Some valid from or valid until configurations will prompt you to enter additional information.
Valid From
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Specific Date | Enter the Start Date for the gift card to begin to be valid for use. |
| First Visit | Enter the Activation Deadline in Number of Days, Number of Months, or Specific Date. The gift card will no longer be valid for use if not redeemed by this time period. |
Valid Until
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Number of Days | Enter the Number of Days you would like the gift card to be valid for use. |
| Number of Months | Enter the Number of Months you would like the gift card to be valid for use. |
| Specific Date | Enter the Expiry Date which will be the final day the gift card will be valid for use. |
