Scheduling classes

You can easily schedule one-off or recurring classes in ScheduleBliss. Classes repeat every week on the Day(s) and Start time that you specifiy. The first session beginning on the Start date, and the last session being offered on the End date that you specify.

For regular classes, tick only one Day box per entry. Only check multiple Day boxes for sessions which are a part of the a series where all the sessions start on the same Start date and end on the same End date. This gives you more freedom later on to adjust the class dates and times and also permanently cancel classes without affecting other linked sessions. Always remember that linked sessions need to start on the same Start date and end on the same End date and once sessions are linked, they cannot be unlinked without ending all the linked sessions.


Steps to schedule a class

  1. Open the Schedule then select + Click to Schedule >> Classes.
  2. Create a new class type or select an existing class type from the Classes Manager
  3. Press the Schedule button next to class type that you would like to schedule.
  4. Refer to the table below to complete your class settings and then press the Schedule Now button to add the class to the schedule.
SETTING DESCRIPTION
Location Choose the location the class will take place if applicable.
Room Choose the room at the location the class will take place if applicable.
Staff member Choose the staff member who will teach or oversee the class.
Start date Enter the first date the class will be offered on your schedule.
End date Enter the last date that the class will be offered on your schedule.
Day & time(s) Select the Day of the week that the class is offered and choose the Start time and End time.
Pay scale Select the pay scale you would like to apply to the class.
Staff member check in access By default all staff members can check customers into all sessions. If you would like to configure stricter access, then you can specifically allow check-in privileges to the scheduled staff member for this class.

Pay scales can be applied either at the staff level or the session level. If a staff member has a pay scale applied to them and the session has a pay scale applied to it also, then the pay scale on the session will be applied to the staff member and not their default pay scale.
