Pay Scales
Pay Scales set the rate of pay that staff members receive per session. You have the option of creating 5 different pay scale types to suit your chosen pay structure.
Creating Pay Scales
To create a Pay Scale:
- Navigate to Manage -> Staff -> Pay Scales from the ScheduleBliss admin menu.
- Select Create New Pay Scale.
- Enter the information for the pay scale depending on the Pay Scale Type.
Flat Rate
This allows you to create one flat rate for a session.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Pay Scale Name | Enter the pay scale name. |
Type | Select Flat Rate. |
Base Pay | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid as a flat amount for the session. |
No-Show Rate | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid in the case that no clients show up for the session. |
Per Head based on Pay Scale Defined for each Pass Type
This allows you to set a base rate up to the number of your choosing then after that number has been reached adds a per head rate based on the amount you set for each pass type via Manage -> Passes.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Pay Scale Name | Enter the pay scale name. |
Type | Select Per Head based on Pay Scale defined for each Pass Type. |
Base Pay | Enter the amount your would like the staff member to receive as base pay for the session. |
Up To | The staff member will receive base pay up to and including this number of clients. Once this number has been exceeded the per head rate for each pass type will be added for additional clients. |
No-Show Rate | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid in the case that no clients show up for the session. |
Per Head Rate
This allows you to set a base rate up to the number of your choosing then adds the per head rate of your choosing.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Pay Scale Name | Enter the pay scale name. |
Type | Select Per Head Rate. |
Base Pay | Enter the amount your would like the staff member to receive as base pay for the session. |
Up To | The staff member will receive base pay up to and including this number of clients. Once this number has been exceeded the per head rate will be added for additional clients. |
Per Head Rate | Enter the amount the staff member will receive per client in attendance once the number set for Up To has been exceeded. |
Pay Cap | If you would like to set a limit to the possible amount per session earned enter that amount here. |
No-Show Rate | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid in the case that no clients show up for the session. |
Percentage Rate
This allows you to set the pay scale based on a percentage of total sales for the session.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Pay Scale Name | Enter the pay scale name. |
Type | Select Percentage Rate. |
Staff Percentage | Enter the percentage of total sales for the session that you would like the staff member to receive. |
Pay Cap | If you would like to set a limit to the possible amount per session earned enter that amount here. |
No-Show Rate | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid in the case that no clients show up for the session. |
Tiered Rate
This allows you to set 6 different pay tiers of your choosing. The staff member will receive the amount listed for the tier assigned to the number of clients in attendance.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Pay Scale Name | Enter the pay scale name. |
Type | Select Tiered Rate. |
Tier 1 | Enter the range of clients and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
Tier 2 | Enter the range of clients beginning at the next number following tier 1 and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
Tier 3 | Enter the range of clients beginning at the next number following tier 2 and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
Tier 4 | Enter the range of clients beginning at the next number following tier 3 and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
Tier 5 | Enter the range of clients beginning at the next number following tier 4 and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
Tier 6 | Enter the range of clients beginning at the next number following tier 5 and the amount the staff member will receive for that range of clients in attendance. |
No-Show Rate | Enter the amount you would like the staff member to be paid in the case that no clients show up for the session. |
